Program Objective
This full time 11 week or 18 week part time certificate program is designed for individuals who require an enhancement to their existing office skill set.
Program Highlights
The focus on this program is to provide the student, who has previous work history and experience in a particular occupation, an opportunity to enhance and upgrade their computer skills. These transition skills will meet the demand of today's business environment. Specific course curriculum will involve:
- Computing Fundamentals
- Internet Basics
- Word Processing
- Spreadsheets
- Database Management
- Electronic Scheduling, E-mailing, Contact and Task Management
- Presentations
- Career Development Workshops
- Plus additional elective courseware in Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentations, Database, Desktop Publishing or Web Design
