Computerized Accounting Certificate Program

Program Objective


The objective of 23 week full time or 38 week part time post secondary certificate program is to provide the accounting, business and computer skills that employers demand for a career in an accounting capacity.

This program is ideal for those individuals who are in need of updating their existing office skills and experience with Accounting and Microsoft Office training.  Course curriculum will involve:

Payroll Compliance and Legislation - Canadian Payroll Association Microsoft Project*
Employment Preparation Microsoft PowerPoint - Core*
Plus Seven Electives Microsoft Publisher - Level I*
Microsoft Access - Expert*

Employment Opportunties


Graduates from this program have found career opportunties as an Accounting Clerk, Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Clerk or as a Payroll Clerk.
