All of Slate Training Centre's licensed programs are eligible for financial assistance through a variety of options. Our staff can help you with information and assistance on how to:
- source and apply for government funding through loans and / or grants
- apply for scholarhships, bursaries, and other awards
Alberta and Canada Student Loans
Applications are available on campus, and once completed, we will courier your application to Students Finance for you. If you are unsure about funding maximums, or have questions about loan funding, our Admission Counsellors can be of assistance to you. Grants for EI Recipients / Low Income Earners / New Immigrants
Some individuals may be eligible for grant funding through various government programs. Slate Training Centre is a government approved institution / training provider that provides the financial assessments, training, and case management for those individuals requiring training to return to work. Since we are an approved institution, your school representative can approve your application for funding.

Dollars for Learners - Scholarships, Bursaries and Awards program
These awards benefit individuals with financial need who wish to pursue post secondary or academic upgrading programs in Alberta. Please visit www.dollarsforlearners.com for additional information.
Student Line of Credit
Student line of credits are available at banking institutions. Please contact your financial institution for approval.
Self Financing / Installment Payment Plan
STC also accepts Visa, MC and Certified cheques for payment of tuition and mandatory fees. Payment can be made in one lump sum or in installments, suitable to both the student and Slate Training Centre.
