Slate Training Centre is dedicated to providing post secondary training through hands-on practical experience that will allow you to be the best at your chosen profession. Our philosophy of education is based on the fact that students learn best when immersed in both theoretical and practical learning. Our programs and continuing education courses are constantly updated to maintain the ability to train on the necessary skills that make you employable for the industry that you choose to enter.

Much of the success for graduates of the training centre can be attributed to the combination of instructor led training followed by hands-on practical individualized learning in developing effective use of their time management, organizational, computer and business skills.  Together, with training in a simulated business environment, students are using and developing skills on a daily basis that will assist them in becoming effective and efficient in their employment.  On-going employment support is provided to assist students in preparing for, and obtaining, long-term and meaningful employment.
